HP 15 Laptop
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I am an INSTANT INK user and have been printing for months.  I also connect from my laptop to printer via mobile hotspot and a USB Connection.

All of a sudden out of nowhere, the printer decided NOT TO PRINT because it says it is NOT connected to the internet when in fact it is.

I have followed all sorts of online help instructions and nothing is working.   The virtual chat responds with auto messages so that is of no help either and with it being the Easter Holiday, the HP INSTANT INK customer service is closed.

I have shut down the laptop, printer, phone, etc., and reconnected and the printer still gives me the same response.  NOT CONNECTED TO THE INTERNET.   Gggggggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Can anyone provide a simplified resolution ?

Thank you very much!

Hi @Fritzoli

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Do you also have a Wi-Fi router or is it just the mobile hot spot that you are trying to connect to?

HP does not recommend connecting the printer through a mobile hot spot.

Let me know.
