I have been trying to get a straight answer from HP for nearly 2 weeks regarding InstantInk for my printer
When the HP Smart app sends me to the web portal, it indicates that I can register for Instant Ink for our HP OFFICEJET PRO 7740 WIDE FORMAT ALL-IN-ONE printer but if I try to register separately for Instant Ink via
https://www.hp.com/gb-en/shop/offer.aspx?p=c-instantinkpickaplan
it says that the printer is not eligible
HP are appalling at trying to get a straight answer - is anyone on this forum able to advise which is correct.
TIA

Sorry for the confusion. No HP wide format printers are eligible for Instant Ink. The page specific to the Officejet Pro 7740 correctly indicates that the printer is not eligible for Instant Ink.
Likely the confusion results from the fact that the ink used in the HP Officejet Pro 7740 is also used for letter-sized printers such as the HP Officejet Pro 8700 series that are eligible for Instant Ink. The ink page should be updated to correctly indicate the difference between the Officejet Pro 7700 and 8700 series printers. I will ask HP to update the affected pages.
I am not an employee of HP, I am a volunteer posting here on my own time.
