I've tried multiple times to print a document off on my printer, but every time I do it states: HP Instant Ink Problem, Cannot Print... visit www.hpinstantprint.com for information. Every time and I have no idea how to get this printer working, I've also payed the monthly subscription and all that comes along with it. Please help me out, I'd love to use this printer if only it worked properly.

Hi @ecsoftwash,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like you're experiencing issues with your HP OfficeJet Pro 6978 printer related to the HP Instant Ink service. Here are some steps you can take to try to resolve this problem.
- Check Internet Connection: Ensure that your printer is connected to the internet properly, as the HP Instant Ink service requires an active internet connection to communicate with your printer and HP's servers.
- Verify Instant Ink Subscription: Log in to your HP Instant Ink account on the HP Instant Ink website (www.hpinstantink.com) to verify that your printer is properly enrolled and that your subscription is active and up to date.
- Restart Printer: Sometimes a simple restart of the printer can resolve temporary communication issues. Turn off your printer, wait for about 30 seconds, and then turn it back on.
- Update Firmware: Check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer. Firmware updates can sometimes fix bugs and improve printer performance. You can usually check for updates through the printer's control panel menu or via the HP website.
- Check Ink Cartridges: Ensure that your printer's ink cartridges are properly installed and not empty. Sometimes, issues with ink cartridges can cause communication errors with the HP Instant Ink service.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
