HP ENVY 6032 All-In-One Printer

My HP Envy 6032 lid will not open to give me access to replace the ink cartridges.  There appears to be some sort of lock in place and i do not want to try forcing it and then break the printer.  There is no error message showing. I have tried turning off pier and disconnecting the power source completely and this does not work.  This should be so simple to do but HP have a habit of making the simple almost impossible to do with some hidden solution that only a few people know about and does not seem to get shared anywhere online.  Please help.

None of the references I've checked mentions a lock.

Make sure the printer power is on.

 

If you are unsure of which cartridges are used in the printer,
