HP Envy Photo 6234

Yesterday I started my printer for the first time and enrolled in the free Instant Ink plan with 15 pages for free + a cost/10 pages extra. I printed a lot of  10x15 and ran out of some of the colours. Today I wanted to print some things in black and white and started the printer. I got a message saying that it had cancelled my Instant Ink program and I can't use Instant Ink cartridges anymore. No explanation at all. On my accont page my printer is listed and Online. So what happened?

When I open my printers adminpage it says Instant Ink Inactive there as well.

I have done an update of the printer as well today. So I have:

Programvaruversion PALMINPPXN003.1903B.00 Byggdatum 2019-01-18

In the settings page it also says on my color cartride: "Used, refilled or false cartridge discovered" it is the cartridge I got with the printer. -- 303 INSTANT INK READY

Hi @BeatriceK

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Try these steps -

1) Turn on the printer, if it is not already on.
2) Wait until the printer is idle and silent.
3) With the printer turned on, unplug the power cord from the printer & wall.
3) Wait for 60 seconds.
4) Plug the power cord back into the printer and wall, ensure the printer is plugged into the wall & not to a surge protector.
5) Turn on the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.

Also, try updating the printer's firmware - HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware

If the issue still persists, please send us a private message with your Instant Ink account details or you may also respond to the private message I've sent out and I'll help you out, accordingly. Check next to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.
