I have an Instant Ink account, have never used the full 50 page monthly allowance and haven't used it much at all over the last 18 months, yet I have never seen any rollover pages on my account. Can these be added to my account now?

Hi @Printerpete4,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I completely understand how this could be confusing, especially since you haven't used your full 50-page monthly allowance and were expecting to see rollover pages in your Instant Ink account.

The way rollover pages work is that HP allows you to roll over unused pages, but only up to a maximum of three times your monthly plan. Since you're on the 50-page plan, the most you can roll over is 150 pages at any given time.

Unfortunately, this means that pages beyond this limit (including those from previous months over the last 18 months) cannot be retroactively added to your account. Any unused pages beyond the 150-page limit would have expired at the end of each billing cycle.

I know this might not be the answer you were hoping for, but I hope this helps clarify how HP Instant Ink manages rollovers. Let me know if you have any other questions—I’m happy to help! 😊

Also, to know more about your plan, please do share your Instant Ink ID or the registered printer serial number for more help.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.

Hi VikramTheGreat, thanks for the reply and explanation.

I understand about the maximum 150 page rollover, but I have never seen any pages rollover. So, for example, if I only used 40 pages last month, I would expect to see somewhere that I have an extra 10 pages available this month, but this has never happened as far as I am aware. Is there somewhere where I can see how many total pages I have available at this point? I'm happy to send my id privately.

Hi @Printerpete4,

I completely understand your concern about page rollovers. With HP Instant Ink, up to 150 unused pages (or three times your monthly plan limit) can roll over, but it’s important to note that rollover pages are only added if you used fewer than your allotted pages.

To check your current available pages, including any rollover balance,

View your plan and rollover page balances

Sign into your account:

Home / Home Office: Sign into your Instant Ink account

Click HP Instant Ink, then Overview in the left menu.

Look for rollover pages in the Status area.

This will show the details, do check and let me know

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
