Bought a new HP PC loaded with windows 11 now I can't print through my instant ink account although I can still print directly through my printer but there is no HP Smart icon listed under my printer, it has disappeared, Funny that this is happening but I'm still being charged the monthly fee for instant ink.

I see that you are facing an issue with your Printer.
Please follow the steps below to connect your printer to your new PC.
1) Uninstall the HP smart app by click on this link, Restart the computer or mobile device to clear possible error conditions.
2) Refer to this link to use the HP smart app on your phone/tablet/PC to add a printer.
Note: Enable Bluetooth for an HP Smart app setup: Enable Bluetooth on your computer or mobile device so that HP Smart can detect the printer during the setup.

I tried what the email said but without any luck, when I clicked on add printer I got a pop up box saying HP Smart currently supports printing of PDF documents. Print other file types directly from their associated application (e. g. Word, Outlook).
Should I uninstall my printer and reinstall it. Does the fact that I am on Ethernet and not WiFi?

Please perform the below steps in the same sequence to troubleshoot further.
1) Uninstall the HP smart app by click on this link, Restart the computer or mobile device to clear possible error conditions.
2) Update the printer firmware by clicking on this link.
3) Refer to this link to use the HP smart app on your phone/tablet/PC to add a printer.
