Hi! I recently bought a printer off of fb market place, printer was working fine for a few months, and then it said payment needs to be updated, I tried to do it under my account but it won’t let me because the previous owner has it on her account. I’ve tried to get in contact with her but she won’t get back with me

Welcome to the HP Community --

 

The previous owner perhaps just realized she's still paying Instant Ink all this time so you can print on her subscription.

She might not be feeling generous at the moment.

 

The issue can be sorted.

 

Should you want to subscribe to Instant Ink, you can do that.

Know that you need not have a subscription to Instant Ink to use your own printer - the subscription is optional.

 

If you want to sign up for instant Ink service, you can do so.

I do recommend that you are familiar with this optional service before you subscribe.

The information you need to decide is available -- Get HP Instant Ink Support Website 

 

First, though -- and regardless of what you decide to do, the printer needs to be extracted from the previous owner's grasp (subscription). 

 

The printer can be set to rights -- doing so will require the help of an HP Instant Ink support agent.
