My old HP printer died and I got a new one, an Envy 6132e.  Trying to set it up with the app on my phone it came up with an error code GPS001, something about unable to finalise subscription, although I wasn't trying to subscribe, just register the change of printer.  Now the app seems to have hung completely.  In the online account dashboard it says the printer is connected to the internet but unable to print.

Hi @PRR26,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

The error code "gps001" typically indicates a problem with the enrollment process for the HP Instant Ink program. Here are some steps you can take to try and resolve this issue:

Check Internet Connection: Make sure your printer is connected to the internet. You can do this by printing a network configuration page from the printer's menu.

Reboot Printer and Router: Turn off your printer and unplug it for about 60 seconds. Also, reboot your router. After that, plug the printer back in and turn it on.

Try a Different Browser: If you're trying to enroll using a web browser, switch to a different browser or clear your current browser's cache and cookies. This can sometimes resolve enrollment issues.

Update Printer Firmware: Ensure your printer has the latest firmware installed. You can usually check this from the printer's control panel under the settings menu.

Use HP Smart App: If you haven’t done so already, try enrolling through the HP Smart app on your smartphone or tablet. It might provide a more seamless experience.

I hope this helps

Take care and have an amazing day ahead! 🚀

Best regards,
