My printer was working fine, then suddenly stopped printing all black text, and the colour printing was very 'red'. Have run multiple cleaning programs and alignment through HP app. Instant ink says I don't need to replace ink, though the black cartridge is 18 months old. Any ideas on why it should suddenly stop working?

- Are you using genuine HP ink cartridges?
- Does the copy print out the same way?
- What's the application you are trying to print from?
- Have you tried printing from a different application or device?

Also, try updating the printer's firmware - HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware
