I have a non instant ink cartridge in my printer. I ran out of ink and recently updated my instant ink profile. I cannot find where I can order more black ink to be shipped to me. I have an account and a plan, but they can't read my ink usage. there is no option to order ink. how do I get the black ink that I need since I have updated and am using my instant ink account?

Is your printer connected to the Internet?  Is your account able to track the color ink usage?  The Instant Ink system cannot track ink levels for retail cartridges.

 

The document here has information on contacting HP to get replacement Instant Ink cartridges.  Go to the HP Instant Ink site, the phone number (or chat option for some countries) will be listed in the lower center of the opening screen. 

 

Alternately, you can click on the Virtual Assistant.  When the assistant opens type "Where is my ink?" (w/o the quotes).  The system will ask a few questions and then schedule your shipment.
