Hi @brownyoncedino,

Welcome to the HP Support Community

I understand you have a question regarding your free Instant Ink plan with your  HP OfficeJet Pro 9019e All-In-One Printer.

To answer the question: The free months will be credited automatically upon enrollment, if it does not we are here to help!

Once you log in to your Instant ink account page, you will be able to view the plan and free months available for your printer under My Account.

For the benefit of community readers, it is not true that the printer somehow knows or informs Instant Ink that it comes with a free one year subscription for up to 700 pages per month.

Purely by chance, after a telephone conversation with HP and being informed that I had to subscribe to an Instant Ink plan otherwise I would not benefit from Instant Ink, that I handed over my credit card details and signed up for a plan, got billed £1 for the privilege....but it does not end there.

I had reason to telephone Instant Ink, spoke to a really helpful lady, I happen to ask how does the Instant Ink plan system know I have one year free? The answer is the system does not.....no advice or special coding on my emails or paperwork from the printer delivery from HP. Thankfully the printer came delivered with a label I had not removed which stated it came with one year free, the lady from HP had to take control of the camera to capture the label as proof that it did indeed come with free ink and add it to my instant ink subscription.

Word tot he wise.
