I have been trying to set up this 6-month trial of Instant Ink for 5 hours now. I was able to print the printer status report, it had the printer PIN on item #12. However, every time I enter the PIN on the code or pin tab, it's saying that the code is invalid. I did not receive proper help from the virtual assistant option. I feel that my purchase has been very useless, to the point where I just want to break everything in sight. HP, please help me with this. If you were to advertise something, especially this free trial ink subscription, make sure instructions are clear and all codes are working.

I see that you are facing issues with activating your free trial months of Instant ink.
When you purchase a new printer, you may be offered a free trial during printer setup. The number of free months depends on the offer at the time and the country of enrollment. You must take advantage of this offer within 7 days. There is no special code and the free months are automatically applied to your account. After 7 days, the free trial offer expires.
To confirm that you received your free months, check the message on the Confirmation page just before you enroll, or sign into your account page at Instantink.com and find the free months under My Account > My Plan.
