Every month I go through the same thing. My account says payment issues and to change my payment method. They start trying to process payment on like the 23rd of eac⁸h month. I dont have money available in the payment method till like the 2nd or 3rd of every month.  I can't change the payment method, that method is my bank debit card. Sometimes I make the payment through an email from Insta ink asking me to make payment.  If I leave it alone,  it eventually will process the payment, itself.  Is there a way to avoid these email notification, requests. The obvious solution is to keep the money in my bank account.  I get paid on the 3rd of each month, By the time the payment starts to process I'm at zero in my bank account.  I'm just trying to avoid an embarrassing situation each month.

Hi @elizabethtandy1

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query.

If you see these messages :

1.Your HP Instant Ink Account Needs Attention

2. HP Instant Ink: Update payment method”

3. Cannot print. Visit www.hpinstantink.com for information”

This means there has been an issue with the payment on file being declined.  This is normally because you have received a new credit/debit card than what is on file, or you need to update the expiration date.

This is easy to fix:  Go to Instantink.com and click the link to Sign In, which is located at the top right of the page, or under the 3 horizontal lines if you are on a mobile device.  On your account home page, click “Change Billing Information”, then “Change Payment Method”.  Re-enter all the data (credit card number, expiration date and CVV) even if you are only updating the expiration.  After you save your changes, it may take a few hours to re-process the payment card. When the card has been re-processed, you will be able to print again

I would request you to please share me the error displayed and share me the registered Email ID with Instant Ink via private message.

I can not make changes to my payment method now. Even if it's to change the exp. date. If I do I'm back to where I started from. It will process the bill, now. I don't have the funds available to make the payment, now. Not untill the 2nd or 3rd of the month.  I did notice that I have until the 4th of the month to change or make payment. So I think I'll be good. Thanks for your time
