HP DeskJet 4158e All-in-One Printer

Team, I got my printer from some other user and it was working fine for 3 months. All in sudden started getting error message, asking me to update my payment card details. Thats when i got to know about instank ink subscription. Looks the previous owner has subscribed into it a year back. I couldn't do much now with the previous owner not responding at all. I have now bought a new HP ink catridge, expecting this should resolve my issue. But, here goes adding to my frustration, it shows new error message "Please connect Printer to HP Instank Ink". I would appreciate any help in getting this resolved.

Hi @Kebi,

Welcome to the HP Support Community

I understand you are facing an issue with your HP DeskJet 4158e All-In-One Printer. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.

We have to delete the printer from the old user's instant ink account and then enroll the printer with your account.

Please refer to this document: HP Instant Ink - Manage your account

If you are not sure about the previous Instant Ink owner details, you will have to reach our Instant Ink Support team. I'm sending out a private message to assist you with the next course of action.

Please check your Private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Community profile Next, to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it or simply click on this link.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
