Hi @SophyPremierEd,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I'm sorry to hear you're encountering difficulties registering your HP Envy 6132e All-in-One Printer to your HP account with the error code OW_4XX_OWSWS00001. This error typically indicates a communication issue between the printer and HP's servers during the registration process.

To resolve this, please follow these steps:

1. Restart Your Printer and Network Devices

  • Power off your printer, router, and computer.
  • Wait for about 60 seconds.
  • Power on your router first, then your printer, and finally your computer.

This ensures a fresh connection to your network.

2. Verify Internet Connectivity

Ensure your printer is connected to the internet:

  • On the printer's control panel, navigate to Settings > Network Setup > Wireless Settings.
  • Confirm that the printer is connected to your Wi-Fi network.
  • If not connected, select your network and enter the password to establish a connection.

3. Remove and Re-add the Printer in the HP Smart App

  • Open the HP Smart app on your device.
  • Remove the problematic printer:
    • Click on the printer's name.
    • Select Remove Printer.
  • Re-add the printer:
    • Click on the plus (+) sign.
    • Follow the on-screen instructions to add your printer again.

This can help reset any configuration issues within the app.

4. Restore Printer to Factory Defaults

Restoring the printer to its default settings can clear any residual configurations:

  • On the printer's control panel, go to Settings > Printer Maintenance > Restore > Restore Factory Defaults.
  • Confirm the reset when prompted.

Note: This will erase all custom settings on the printer.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
