Hello,

I just moved away from a HP Officejet Pro 9025e to a HP Color LaserJet Pro 4302dw. Now I get that toner is more expensive but let's be realistic....

My new plan options:

These prices do not even make sense. Your own website says that toner subscriptions are nothing near this. Is this a mistake or are you trying to rip me off?

Your website states the following toner plans:

My previous plans on inkjet printer:

I have checked against the cost of the toner and it is cheaper to buy it from HP direct after working out the cost per month over two years with a 200 print volume. There is no way any cost saving on this device, it is like the amounts have just been made up without any thought. Toner is supposed to be cheaper in the long run as it lasts longer, yet compared to my previous inkjet there is a huge different in the price of more than double per page.

I have just got the printer so I know I still have time to just switch to buying the toner. Can anyone shed any light on this and perhaps make sense of it? Does anyne else have pricing like this on their plans? I don't mind paying a subscription as i have been for my last printer but it does need to at least be economically viable!
