Welcome to the HP Community --
Ink is included in the price of the Print-by-Page subscription to Instant Ink.
There is no extra charge for the Ink cartridges -- the service model includes ink.
The plan you choose allows for a certain number of pages per month -- stay within the allowed page count and there are no extra fees. Exceed the page count and there is a charge for extra "page sets" as described in the contract.
Regardless of which plan you are on -- ink is included.
What?
If you are on a low page count plan, you may not receive ink for a long time until the ink you have is depleted.
If you are on a high page count plan (for example, 700 pages a month), you will receive ink more frequently.
Plan prices are structured to include ink.
Generally the savings and usefulness of the service is better for the higher page count plans.
