Common problems for INSTANT INK, HP+ PLANS: INK AND TONER
We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about Instant Ink. Check out this link: HP INSTANT INK, HP+ PLANS: INK AND TONER. .

I have HP Instant ink and I was wondering when the page count is supposed to reset to 0. My page count has been at 225 (100 print pages and 125 of 300 rollover pages) for a couple of weeks after the monthly payment.

I thought that the page count resets to zero each month. My monthly payments start on the 19th of every month.

Any help will be great. Thank you.

Hi @RowanGreen4,

Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I see that you had a query about page count for your HP instant ink subscription.

Rollover Pages. When You do not print all of Your Service Plan Pages allocation (or pages in an Additional Set purchased) in a Month Period (“Included Pages”), then the unused Included Pages will roll-over (“Rollover Pages”) and be available for Your subsequent use, provided that the total number of Rollover Pages that you can carry over at the beginning of each Month Period is limited to three times for ink and two times for toner of Your monthly Service Plan Pages allocation for that Month Period.

Any additional unused pages that You may have that exceed this limit would not become Rollover Pages and are forfeited at the end of the Month Period. Consequently, the total number of pages You can have available at the beginning of a Month Period is 4 times for ink and 3 times for toner of Your Service Plan Page allocation at that time (i.e. Your Service Plan allocation plus 3 times for ink and 2 times for toner the Service Plan pages allocation as Rollover Pages.)

I hope this answers your query.

Have a nice day ahead.

Just want to know about purchased page count and when the purchased page count resets to zero. NOT asking about rollover pages, just PURCHASED PAGES.

If you buy 100 purchased pages for the month, and those are used, when do the purchased pages reset to 0?

Hi @RowanGreen4,

If you have purchased additional pages for your plan, then it will not reset to 0. It will be there in your account till you use it.

I hope this answers your query.

I purchased 100 print pages for the month, which gives 300 rollover pages.

So what you are saying is that I have to use all 400 pages before the purchased page count resets to 0?

Thank you.

Hi @RowanGreen4,

If you do not use all your plan pages in a month, the unused pages will be kept in your account as rollover pages. Ink plans can roll over 3x the number of pages in your plan (150 pages if on the 50-page plan) and toner plans can roll over 2x the number of pages (100 pages if on the  50-page plan). It will not reset to zero until the maximum unused pages is reached . You need to use the purchased 100 pages before the maximum unused pages (400 pages if you have a 100 page plan 300 rollover pages + 100) is reached.

I hope this answers your query.
