Did the price go up for the pages one prints per month? This is about the instant ink cartridge program. Thank you for your answers.

The prices for the lower Instant Ink plans were raised in about February 2022, with the bills showing up in about March 2022. The US prices for the 50 page/month plan went up from $2.99/mo to $3.99/mo, the 100 page plan went from $4.99/mo to $5.99/mo. For most plans the additional charge for pages printed over the limit have increased to $1 per 10 pages. There was a rather extensive discussion of this in the forum, see the topic here.
The previous free 15 pages/month plan had been changed to a 15 pages for $0.99 plan. When the above price increases went into effect this plan was changed to $0.99 for 10 pages.
HP may have sent an email about this increase, some got notices and others did not. At the time I had both an ink account (which was increasing) and a toner-based program (which was not increasing). I got an email notice the toner program was increasing to $5.99 (from $3.99) which turned out to be incorrect. I did not get any notice about the ink increase from $4.99 to $5.99, I searched my Spam folder to be sure.

Thank you for your reply. My monthly charges went up from $2.99 to $4.20. I know I did not go past the page limit and I have over 120 left over pages. I’m going to call HP and find out what is going on.
Again, thank you!

The $2.99 to $3.99 is probably the price increase, I suspect the extra $0.21 is sales tax. Are you in a state with 5% tax? I do not know if they only recently started charging the tax, in my state there is not a sales tax.
