I am trying to activate Instant Ink subscription for my printer HP DeskJet 4220e (Serial No:Edited, Product No: 588K4B), plan 300 pages/month (€15.99/month, first 3 months free).

 

But I always get the error UA_400_EB000U0422 – This printer is already connected to another account.

 

The printer was given to me for free, and I cannot contact the previous owner. I just want to use it for my child’s schoolwork.

 

Could you please reset/unlink this printer from the old account, so I can register it with my HP account and activate the subscription?
