Hi @MJAW1,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If you're experiencing connectivity issues when trying to enroll in Instant Ink or use the ePrint feature on your HP Officejet Pro 8620, here are some troubleshooting steps you can follow.

Verify Internet Connection:

  • Double-check that your printer is connected to the correct Wi-Fi network, and ensure that the network has a stable internet connection.
  • If possible, restart your router to ensure a fresh connection.

Printer Connection:

  • Ensure that your printer is properly connected to the network. You can check the network status on the printer's control panel.
  • Restart the printer to refresh its network settings.

Firmware Update:

  • Check if there is a firmware update available for your printer. You can usually find firmware updates on the HP support website. Updating the firmware may resolve compatibility issues.

Reboot Devices:

  • Restart both your computer and the printer. This can sometimes resolve communication issues between the devices.

Firewall/Antivirus Software:

  • Check if any firewall or antivirus software on your computer is blocking the connection. Temporarily disable them and try again.

Proxy Settings:

  • If you are using a proxy server, make sure that the printer and your computer are configured to use the same proxy settings.

Check for HP Services Outage:

  • Visit the HP support website or contact HP support to check if there are any ongoing outages or issues with their services.

Reset ePrint Settings:

  • On the printer's control panel, navigate to the ePrint settings and reset or reconfigure them. This may resolve any issues with the ePrint feature.

Check Instant Ink Account Online:

  • If you are having trouble enrolling through the printer, try enrolling in Instant Ink through the official Instant Ink website. This can be done by logging into your Instant Ink account from a computer.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
