Check Internet Connection: Ensure your printer has a stable internet connection. A weak or intermittent connection can disrupt the registration process.
Update Printer Firmware: Outdated firmware can cause compatibility issues. Visit the HP Support page for your printer model to download and install the latest firmware updates.
Use the HP Smart App: The HP Smart app streamlines printer setup and registration. Download it from your device's app store, sign in with your HP account, and follow the prompts to add your printer and register for Instant Ink.
Reset Network Settings: Resetting your printer's network settings can resolve connectivity issues. To do this, press and hold the Wireless button and the Cancel button simultaneously for about 5 seconds until the Wireless light starts blinking. Then, reconnect your printer to your Wi-Fi network using the HP Smart app.
