Hi @Gingerlane,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

The flashing blue WiFi light and amber Instant Ink light on your HP DeskJet 3755 All-In-One Printer typically indicate connectivity issues. Here are steps to troubleshoot and resolve the problem.

Check WiFi Connection:

  • Ensure the printer is within range of your WiFi network.
  • Restart your router to refresh the network connection.
  • Reconnect the printer to WiFi:
    1. Press and hold the Wireless button on the printer for three seconds. This should initiate WiFi setup mode, indicated by a blinking blue light.
    2. On your computer or mobile device, open the HP Smart app.
    3. Follow the on-screen instructions to add a new printer and connect it to your WiFi network.

Check Instant Ink Status:

  • Check your Instant Ink account to ensure there are no issues with your subscription. Log in to your HP Instant Ink account to verify your subscription status and check for any alerts or issues.
  • Reset the printer:
    1. Turn off the printer.
    2. Unplug the power cord from the back of the printer and wait for 60 seconds.
    3. Plug the power cord back in and turn on the printer.
    4. Check if the Instant Ink light is still flashing.

Update Printer Firmware:

  • Ensure your printer firmware is up to date. You can update the firmware using the HP Smart app or by visiting the HP Support website and downloading the latest firmware for your printer model.

Run HP Print and Scan Doctor:

  • Download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor tool, which can help diagnose and fix many common printer problems.
    • Download from HP Print and Scan Doctor.

Factory Reset the Printer:

If none of the above steps work, you can perform a factory reset on your printer:

  1. Turn off the printer.
  2. Press and hold the Power button and the Cancel button together for 3 seconds, then release them.
  3. The printer will turn on and reset to factory settings. You will need to set up the printer again as if it were new.

By following these steps, you should be able to resolve the connectivity issue and get your HP DeskJet 3755 All-In-One Printer back to working order.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.

Thank you for all the steps, but I had already tried all of them except factory reset and that still didn't work.

My print is 14 months old, not sure why on June 14 this issue started.

Any way I can talk with a human at HP.
