I am extremely frustrated with my experience with HP and feel compelled to share this publicly because the level of service I’ve received is completely unacceptable.

My printer has been broken beyond repair for months, yet I have continued to be charged for my HP Instant Ink subscription for at least the past six months. Despite repeated attempts since the end of last year, I have been unable to successfully cancel this service or speak with a representative who can resolve the issue.

The chat system is an endless loop of virtual AI responses that claim to transfer you to an agent—but never actually do. Calling HP has been just as ineffective. I’ve been rerouted multiple times, told someone would follow up with me, and yet no one ever does. There is no clear path to resolution, no accountability, and no customer support that actually supports the customer.

At this point, this is no longer just an inconvenience—it reflects extremely poor service and a lack of respect for customers’ time and money.

I am requesting:

Immediate cancellation of my HP Instant Ink subscription

A refund for at least the last two months (if not more), given that I have been charged for a service I have been unable to use due to a non-functioning printer

Direct contact from a competent representative who can resolve this matter without further delays

This experience has been disappointing and, quite frankly, unacceptable for a company of this size and reputation. I expect a prompt resolution.

Verify Account and Subscription Details: Sign in to your HP Instant Ink account to check the status of your subscription, payments, and printer details.

 

Cancel or Pause Your Subscription: If necessary, you can cancel or pause your 
HP Instant Ink subscription:
 

  • Sign in to your HP Instant Ink account.
     
  • Go to HP Instant Ink, then Update Plan.
     
  • Choose to pause or cancel the subscription.

Billing Concerns and Disputes: For billing issues, including charges for a subscription not being used, you can contact HP Instant Ink Support directly to resolve the matter.
