Hi @Radfan

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query.

The printer is already installed but Windows 11 is not sending the print job successfully, I would avoid repeatedly deleting and reinstalling the printer. The next step should be to determine whether the problem is the Windows print queue/driver, connection, or the printer itself. I would request you to please follow the steps:

Check the printer status.

  • Open Settings → Bluetooth & devices → Printers & scanners.
  • Select the HP DeskJet 2900 series.
  • Confirm it does not show Offline or Driver unavailable.
  • Make sure it is selected as the default printer.

Run HP App

  • Open the HP app on Windows 11.
  • Select the printer.
  • Open Diagnose & Fix and run the complete troubleshooting process.
  • HP specifically recommends this tool for issues such as a printer being offline or print jobs becoming stuck.

Clear the Windows print queue

  • Go to Settings → Bluetooth & devices → Printers & scanners → HP DeskJet 2900 → Open print queue.
  • Cancel every pending document.
  • Restart the computer and printer.
  • Try printing a simple one-page document again.

Check the printer connection.

  • If using Wi-Fi, make sure the computer and printer are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
  • If possible, temporarily test with USB to determine whether the issue is network-related.
  • HP's DeskJet 2900 setup documentation supports Windows setup through the HP app, Windows built-in driver, or USB.

Test the printer independently.

  • Try making a copy directly from the printer.
  • If the printer can make a copy but cannot print from Windows, that points more strongly toward a Windows/driver/connection problem.
  • If it cannot copy or reports an error on the printer itself, the issue may be with the printer or ink/paper system.

Take care and have an amazing day!

I'm an HP Employee.
