I am not eligible for hp ink because my primer is not supported by HP and yet I can’t access my account on hp. ??????

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Printer Connection to HP Smart! 

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.  

  

If your printer is not connecting to HP Smart and you are experiencing issues with accessing your HP account, follow the steps below to troubleshoot and resolve the issue.

Ensure Network Connection

  • Make sure your printer and the device running the HP Smart app are connected to the same network.
  • Move your printer and the device closer to the Wi-Fi router to improve signal quality.

Sign In to HP Smart

  • Open the HP Smart app and ensure you are signed in with your HP account credentials. You need an HP account to use most features such as HP Smart Advance.

Reconnect to Wi-Fi

  • Reconnect your printer to the Wi-Fi network. Printers with a touchscreen control panel can be configured directly from the printer's settings menu. For non-touchscreen printers, use the HP Smart app.

Check for Printer Errors

  • Clear any printer errors that may be indicated on the printer control panel or in the HP Smart app, such as low ink levels or a paper jam.
