@jkanyuka, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Printer Not Enrolled in HP Instant Ink!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

If your printer is displaying a message that it is not enrolled in HP Instant Ink and is not printing, here are some steps to resolve the issue. This message typically means that the printer cannot use Instant Ink cartridges because it is not enrolled in the HP Instant Ink service.

Steps to Solve the Issue:

Enroll in HP Instant Ink:

  • Go to HP Instant Ink and click Sign Up Now to enroll your printer in the HP Instant Ink service.

Check Printer Enrollment Status:

Replace Instant Ink Cartridges:

  • If you do not want to enroll in Instant Ink, remove the Instant Ink cartridges and use Original HP Ink or Toner purchases from any retailer.

Reconnect the Printer to the Internet:

  • Ensure your printer has an active internet connection to communicate with HP Web Services.
  • Turn the printer off and back on to reset the connection if needed.
  • Make sure the network connection is stable.

Updated Payment Information:

  • If there is a payment issue with your HP Instant Ink account, such as an expired credit card, update your payment information as follows:
    • Instant Ink for Home / Home Office:
      1. Sign into your Instant Ink account.
      2. Navigate to Account > Billing or Shipping & Billing > Manage your payment method.
    • Instant Ink for Business with LaserJet 3000/4000 series printers:
      1. Sign into your Instant Ink for Business account.
      2. Navigate to Account > Billing > Update Payment.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
