Hi @Punkin8ter_2024,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I understand how frustrating it must be to have pages print repeatedly, especially when it impacts your Instant Ink usage. This type of issue is usually related to a stuck print job or a communication delay between the printer and the device. To help prevent this going forward, please try the steps below:

Steps to stop repeated printing / prevent it again

1. Cancel all print jobs

  • On your computer:
Go to Devices & Printers → your printer → See what’s printing → Cancel all documents

2. Restart the print spooler (Windows)

  • Press Windows + R → type services.msc
  • Find Print Spooler → Restart

3. Power reset the printer

  • Turn OFF the printer
  • Unplug from the wall for 60 seconds
  • Plug back in and turn ON

4. Check for duplicate jobs

  • Ensure the document wasn’t sent multiple times from the application
  • Avoid clicking “Print” multiple times if there is a delay

5. Update/reinstall the printer driver

  • This helps prevent communication glitches that can resend jobs

Regarding Instant Ink pages

We definitely understand your concern about the extra pages counted.

To help check this further, could you please share the following details with us via private message:

  • Approximate number of extra pages printed
  • Your Instant Ink registered email address or Instant Ink account ID
  • Printer serial number ( In Private, not in public)

Once we have these details, we can review your account and see what options are available to assist you.

⚠️ Important Note

While we will certainly check and do our best to support you, please note that on this platform, we may have limited ability to guarantee credits. However, we will review the case and guide you with the best possible resolution based on your account activity

I hope this helps.
