I'm signed up for HP ink, but printers says I need to sign up in order to use ink cartridges. When I say ignore, it freezes on realignment. when I turn on it freezes on shutting down.

I understand that your printer screen is freezing, I am glad to assist you.
You might have to perform a semi-full reset on the printer.
The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.
