Hi @Ioniq,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP printer is prompting you to register for Instant Ink, but you already did so, and it won't connect to the internet or print, here are some steps you can take to resolve the issue:

1. Check Internet Connection

  • Ensure your printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your device. You can check the connection status on the printer’s control panel.

2. Restart Printer and Router

  • Power off your printer and unplug it. Also, restart your Wi-Fi router. Wait for a minute, then plug the printer back in and turn it on.

3. Re-establish Wi-Fi Connection

  • Use the printer’s control panel to navigate to the Network settings and reconnect to your Wi-Fi network. You may need to enter the Wi-Fi password again.

4. Check Instant Ink Status

  • Log in to your HP Instant Ink account online to check the status of your subscription. Make sure your account is active and not expired.
  • You can access your account at HP Instant Ink.

5. Update Printer Firmware

  • Ensure your printer's firmware is up to date. You can usually check for updates through the HP Smart app or directly on the printer's control panel.

6. Reset Instant Ink

  • If you’re still having trouble, you might need to reset your Instant Ink settings. You can do this by going to HP Smart App > Printer Setup > Manage Instant Ink and follow the prompts to reset.

7. Check for Error Messages

  • Look for any error messages on the printer's display that might provide additional clues about the issue.

8. Reinstall HP Smart App

  • If you're using the HP Smart app, try uninstalling and reinstalling it. This can sometimes clear up connection issues.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
