@gilly031044, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding an instant ink issue!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

If HP Instant Ink keeps saying that your HP DeskJet 2720 All-in-One Printer is not available, it could be due to connectivity or account issues. Here are some troubleshooting steps to fix it:

1. Check Printer Connection

  • Wi-Fi Connection: Ensure your printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your computer.
  • Restart Devices: Turn off your printer, router, and computer for 60 seconds, then turn them back on.

2. Verify HP Instant Ink Account

  • Log in to HP Instant Ink
  • Go to My Account > Printers and check if your printer is listed and active.

3. Ensure Web Services Are Enabled

  • On the printer's control panel, press Wireless or Setup > Web Services
  • If Web Services is disabled, turn it ON.

4. Update Printer Firmware

  • Visit HP Support
  • Search for "HP DeskJet 2720", download the latest firmware, and install it.

5. Remove & Re-register Printer in HP Instant Ink

  • Log in to HP Instant Ink
  • Remove the printer from your account
  • Re-add it by following on-screen steps

6. Factory Reset Printer (Last Resort)

If the issue persists, reset your printer to factory settings:

  • Press & hold the Cancel (X) + Wireless button for about 5 seconds until the printer resets.

You can refer to this guide for further guidance!

Try these steps and let me know if you need further help! 😊

Take care, and have an amazing day!
