Printing Issues

HP Recommended
Deskjet 2700
macOS 10.13 High Sierra

Coloured printing not working (still have a lot of supply), using Mac. Is there any way to solve it? I tried using different options/ printing options. I’ve also tried using different softwares like Word and Adobe. 

When i print coloured document, only black and white comes out even though i unchecked the button.

To better assist you - 

 

1) Does the copy print out the same way? 

2) What's the application you are trying to print from? Have you tried printing from a different application or devices? 

 

While you respond to that, let's print a Print Quality Diagnostic page -

 

Open HP Smart app, and then print the Print Quality Diagnostic page.

  1. Open HP Smart and select your printer.

  2. Click Printer Reports, or click Tools and then click Printer Reports.

    The list of reports displays.

  3. Select Print Quality Report.

    The printer prints the Print Quality Diagnostic page.

Post the Print Quality Diagnostic page here so we can help you further. 

 

You may also refer to this document with steps to fix the " Print Quality Issues" issue applicable for your printer -  Print Quality Issues

 

 Also, try updating the printer's firmware - HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware

I checked my email and HP sent an email saying i have to pay £42 for only receiving a cartridge last month, they charged me £39 for additional pages when i only used 22/50 pages from my plan. I am a student as well, and im trying to cut cost as much as possible, i am aware for paying extra if i used more pages than the plan. I would like to request a refund for the £39 as i didn’t used additional pages. I have cancelled my plan as i didn’t expect this is how HP is going to charge me.
