Problem loading new instant ink cartridge

HP Envy 7134
macOS 10.14 Mojave

Trying to install new instant ink tri-color cartridge in my Envy 7134 printer but it just keeps saying there is a problem and to reload the cartridge. Checked HP Utility for printer and it says that the cartridge has failed. Just to check, I tried the old cartridge in it again and it accepted it OK and then re-tried new cartridge again but still saying there is a problem. Tried online chat with HP support but they told me it was only available in US and Canada and I am in UK. This is only the second new cartridge I have tried to fit as the printer is only 3 months old.
