But beware my account got suspended with outdated credit card information. I returned/recycled the old cartridge and my son bought one from the store to tide m overe. Now HP refuses to send me cartridges because it "can't read the ink levels" in my printer. There is also no way to force them send a cartridge that I can see. Yet I'm still being charged with no way to print or get ink except buying from the store forever.

I understand you have not received a replacement Instant Ink cartridge. Apologies for the inconvenience caused.
If the account is in suspended state, no replacement inks will be sent. As you have fixed it, I would need some information related to your Instant Ink Subscription. This information cannot be shared on a public post.
