Hello! So I am pretty sure I  can answer my own question, but I figured I'd ask  just in case. So a while ago, I'm not sure exactly when, probably 10 months or so, I signed up for the for 6 months of instant ink offer. I received my first order, but I actually ended up getting really sick, I was hospitalized with sepsis (I was in pain but thought it was just sciatica), anyway to make a long story short I was in the hospital for quite some time, and the healing process didn't stop there, I basically had to learn how to walk again and was in a lot of pain. Suffice it to say I was not using my computer, or my printer at that time, and honestly forgot about the whole free ink thing. I recently have finally gotten close to being back at 100% again, I'm very grateful on so many levels, and now I am taking an online IT program. It's easy to see I only received the first shipment of ink, I'm wondering if there is anyway to start over with that offer? Again, I am pretty sure that it's not really feasible, and I totally understand, but I figured it couldn't hurt to at least ask. I'm not even sure if this is the correct place to do so, this just keeps coming up when I am googling anything in this line of questioning. Anywho, thank you for your time, sorry for taking a few minutes of life I can't return with this long and probably unnecessary post.

Hi @mimichellles,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

First, I truly want to say I’m very glad you’re doing better. What you went through sounds incredibly difficult, and focusing on your recovery was absolutely the right priority.

Regarding the 6-month Instant Ink promotional offer:

Unfortunately, the promotional period cannot be restarted or extended once it has expired. These offers begin at the time of enrollment and continue automatically for the full promotional duration, regardless of printer usage. Once the six-month period ends, the system does not allow it to be reset or reissued.

I completely understand why you wanted to check, especially given the circumstances, it was absolutely reasonable to ask. If you’d like, I can help you review the current Instant Ink plan options available so you can choose the most suitable one for your current needs as you begin your IT program.

And again, no need to apologize for asking. Wishing you continued strength and success moving forward.
