Free Instant Ink plan ENDING? Forced into 1€ a month deal in December?

I've received the exact same email.  The December date seems to vary depending on your monthly payment cycle (mine begins 15 December 2020.  I think it's very unfair to be forced to accept this plan change if it is an official email from HP as opposed to a scam email.  If this is true, this wouldn't be cost effective for me and I would seriously consider cancelling the plan in protest.
