HP OfficeJet 4650 All-in-One Printer

I received an email from HP telling me they detect that I installed a store bought ink cartridge and not one they had sent me.  This is not true.  I have never installed an ink cartridge other than what HP has sent me in the Instant Ink Cartridge program.  Please advise.
