Hi @_3785-680
To complete this procedure, you must contact HP in the printer's country of origin and request regionalization for your new location.
Once completed, you will be able to print.
Best regards

Regionalization reset appears completed.
RC changed from W819 to 58100 after Semi-Full Reset.
However genuine HP 680 cartridges are still showing incompatible.
Printer can print diagnostic pages but cartridges are not accepted fully.
Please perform backend regionalization sync / cartridge reset.

Hi @_3785-680,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out!
Thanks for sharing those details. A semi‑full reset does not actually change the printer’s regionalization, it only clears certain settings and queues. The fact that your RC changed from W819 to 58100 suggests something was altered, but a true region reset can only be performed by HP’s backend tools or service teams. That’s why your HP 680 cartridges are still showing as incompatible even though diagnostic pages print.
To move forward, I need to clarify the following: How exactly did you perform the “regional reset”? Was it through the printer’s control panel, a service menu, or HP support assistance?
If you attempted this on your own, then it wouldn't work; let me know, and I can help you with the reset. Only then will the printer accept the HP 680 cartridges.
I hope this helps
Take care and have an amazing day ahead! 🚀

Hello HP Support,
I have an HP DeskJet Ink Advantage 3785 printer originally purchased in the Middle East.
Earlier it was using HP 652 cartridges.
Now I am in India and installed HP 680 cartridges, but the printer shows cartridge error / incompatible cartridge error.
Please help me perform a Regionalization Reset (Region Change) so the printer can use HP 680 cartridges in India.
I can provide the serial number and printer information page if needed.
