I’m trying to set up a used HP DeskJet 2755e printer but it won’t let me register it to do the setup because it says to use the account that was used to originally purchase it which I, obviously, don’t have access to. I know I need to do a factory reset on it but can’t seem to find the information on how to do that. Can anyone help me out?

I understand that you are facing issues with registering your printer.
Uninstall the HP smart app from any one of the devices.
Note: If there are additional printers listed on the HP smart app, they will be deleted)
Restore network settings to default settings - Press and hold the Wireless button and the Cancel button from the printer control panel together for 5 seconds and release it. This would erase the old network from the printer and would put the printer in setup mode.
Post that, re-download the HP smart app on your phone, open the app, and click on add printer on top. Select your printer and follow the on-screen instructions to get your printer connected to the network.
Once successfully connected, the wireless light would turn solid blue.
