I was enrolled in instant ink and cancelled the subscription because it wasn't beneficial to me. I purchased regular HP ink cartridges and installed them accurately. However, the pages come out blank with no ink whenever I try to print anything. The printer is displaying a message that says: Printing with non-instant ink cartridges. There is a problem with instant ink: visit www.hpinstantink.com
I have done this and verified that my subscription is cancelled.
I have turned off the web services.
I have unplugged the printer and plugged it back in.
Nothing is working and I NEED to print some documents.
Please help!

Hi @JMFM,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I suggest that you follow the steps listed below to uninstall and reinstall HP Smart App:
Step 1: Uninstall HP Smart App.
1. Navigate to and open Settings
2. Select Apps or Application Manager from the device Settings
3. Select HP Smart
4. Select Uninstall
Step 2: Reinstall HP Smart App.
1. Download the HP Smart app from 123.hp.com (Android, Apple iOS, iPad OS),
or HP Smart - Microsoft Store (Windows),
or HP Smart - Mac App Store (Mac).
2. Open the HP Smart app.
3. The app searches for recently installed printers.
- If your printer displays, click it. If you are setting up a new printer, it might display with Set-Up under the name.
- If your printer does not display, click the Plus sign, and then follow the on-screen prompts to add your printer or set up the printer.

Your suggestion had nothing to do with the fact that the printer is not recognizing the ink cartridges??? I purchased HP cartridges as I am NOT enrolled in instant ink and they will not work. The printer keeps telling me there is a problem with instant ink and to go to the website. I am NOT enrolled in instant ink! I am not using instant ink cartridges. Why won't the printer recognize the cartridges and/or print?!

Hi JMFM,
If should remove all the instant ink cartridges and use only the cartridges that you purchased from the store.
I suggest that you follow the steps listed below to remove web services:
1. Open the embedded web server (EWS):
a. Find out the IP address or hostname of the printer by pressing the Information button (i) to print an Information page.
NOTE: The printer must be on a network and must have an IP address.
b. In a supported web browser on your computer, type the IP address or hostname assigned to the printer. For example, if the IP address is 123.123.123.123, type the following address into the web browser: http://123.123.123.123.
2. Click the Web Services tab, and then click Remove Web Services in the Web Services Settings section.
3. Click Remove Web Services.
4. Click Yes to remove Web Services from your printer.
You may also refer to this document to turn off web services: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c04808536
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.

Hello,
I have already disconnected the web services. I did this before emailing you for support. It still does not register the ink cartridges and the error message displayed on the printer says: connect printer to update HP Instant Ink Status.
I have also unenrolled in instant ink, canceling my subscription.
Is there anyone who I can speak with?
