Hello, hope someone more knowledgeable is out there.  

 

Months ago an issue arose where the error message Remove and reinstall the indicated cartridge came up for the Tri-colour cartridge.  We managed to operate for several months in single cartridge mode and recently halfway  through printing a page the same message comes up saying to now remove the Black cartridge.  In the meantime we have had a replace Tri-colour cartridge through HP instant ink and that new one does not work either.  We have tried the suggested solutions of cleaning the metal contacts etc.

 

The machine is 15 months old and out of warranty since May 2021.  

 

We are at a loss to what to do with this machine apart from disposing of it.

If several color ink s are throwing the same error, it could be a hardware issue.

 

I recommend you to contact the HP Support Team regarding this.
