I need to remove the old printer out of my printer list. I have canceled that plan and instant ink plan in Feb but it says I am subscribed to instant ink for that print and I am not. Also it says my new printer is offline but I can print Wirelessly from my phone or pc. I also am out of black ink and need to know if instant ink is part of my new printer Envy? I'm assuming  the smart app is not showing the printer as online then that's why I was not sent black ink. I have a project due in 1 week and I'm panicking.

Thank You for any help,

S Wohlers

Confirm Cancelling HP Instant Ink Plan

  1. Sign in to HP Instant Ink: Go to HP Instant Ink and sign in with your account credentials.
  2. Check Subscription Status: Ensure that the old printer is no longer listed under your subscriptions. If it is still active, contact HP customer support to ensure it has been properly cancelled.

Setting Up New Printer and Ensuring It’s Online

  1. Reboot your Printer: Turn off your printer, wait for about 10 seconds, and then turn it back on.
  2. Check Network Connection: Make sure your new HP Envy printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your phone or PC.
  3. Update HP Smart App: Ensure you have the latest version of the HP Smart app installed on your device.
  4. Add Printer in HP Smart App:
    • Open the HP Smart app.
    • Click “Add Printer” and follow the on-screen instructions to connect your new printer.
  5. Check for Printer Updates:
    • Go to "Settings" > "Printer Maintenance" (or something similar depending on your model) in the HP Smart app.
    • Check for any firmware updates for your printer.

Checking for HP Instant Ink Subscription for New Printer

To check if HP Instant Ink is enabled for your new Envy printer:

  1. HP Instant Ink Account: Login to your HP Instant Ink account.
  2. View Enrolled Printers: Ensure your new printer is listed under "My Account" > "Account Settings" > "My Printers."

I hope this helps.
