Common problems for INSTANT INK, HP+ PLANS: INK AND TONER
We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about Instant Ink. Check out this link: HP INSTANT INK, HP+ PLANS: INK AND TONER. .

I canceled Instant Ink 5 days ago, and the cancellation took effect yesterday (my last billing date). I want to remove the printer from my account. However, I keep getting the message: "Your printer is enrolled in HP Instant Ink and cannot be removed until your subscription is canceled." What do I need to do to finally remove the printer?

I want to sell the printer without installing new cartridges. I've removed the old Instant Ink cartridges.

@Marco2222, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

It sounds like you’ve already canceled your HP Instant Ink subscription, but the system might still be processing the cancellation. To resolve the issue and remove the printer from your HP Instant Ink account, follow these steps:

Verify Cancellation:

Log in to your HP Instant Ink account at HP Instant Ink.

Go to the Account section and verify that your subscription shows as canceled and there are no active billing cycles.

Remove Printer:

Once confirmed that your subscription is canceled, you should be able to remove the printer.

Go to the Printers section on your HP Instant Ink account page.

Select the printer you want to remove.

There should be an option to remove or delete the printer from your account.

Clear Cache and Try Again:

If the system still doesn’t allow you to remove the printer, try clearing your browser cache and cookies or use a different browser/device.

Also, i suggest you refer to these guides:

Instant Ink account management | HP® Support

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
