Recently bought a used HP 2700e. I want to register for instant ink but the printer states is has already been registered.
I’ve reset the printer but still won’t let me add it.
how do I remove it from an unknown account?

@AtomicHobo, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.
The printer has to be removed by the previous owner from his Instant Ink account before you can claim it and re-enroll it with your account.
If you are not aware of the previous owner, we can perform a factory reset on the printer.
- The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.
- I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
- In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/notes/privatenotespage
Hope this helps! Let me know how it goes.
