Ok this is about HP Instant Ink, now AFAIK the cartridges in the Instant Ink contract are bigger and the foil pack they come in clearly states not for sale or re sale, this would suggest that one could not simply 'hand these in' to your local cartridge store.
So if HP have stopped supplying envelopes in respect of the Instant Ink contracts, fine I'll find another way to recycle them, but AFAIK the Instant Ink cartridges are the property of HP, due to their larger size.
Never mind, by signing in to my instant ink account ask the va the right question and voila a returns envelope will dispatched for me to send back HP's property 🙂 solved

OK, the last time I had an instant ink cartridge there was a return envelope, this time there was not, if there is not a 'simple' link whereby I can request said return envelope, jumping through all those hoops, read this click that, select country, register for this.......forget it, I have better things to do with my life, but thanks anyway.

Dear Thanks-Anyway --
OK. Got it.
The policy was changed by HP to help reduce the huge amount of plastic waste generated by sending envelopes to everyone who receives or purchases HP ink — envelopes that people might — or might not — want to use.
Policies that create inconvenience might also create resentment -
It's unfortunate and was not the intended result.
Perhaps consider taking the cartridges to a local office supply store in your area that accepts ink cartridges for recycle.
