Return/recycle requirement

Is there a fee if we don't return our old cartridges? It's easier to recycle them locally than wait weeks after requesting an envelope.

HP will not chase you down for your Instant Ink cartridges.

Recycling -- regardless of how you do it -- is an excellent choice for your HP ink.

Instant Ink customers can order return envelopes from the Instant Ink account page. Sign in to your HP Instant Ink account or your Instant Ink for Business account and look for the Recycling option in the cartridge status area.
