HP OfficeJet Pro 9025 All-in-One Printer

I've had this second hand printer for 2 years and it just prompted me to register for instant ink (and won't allow me to use it until I do so). It's registered to the previous owner's account, whom I cannot contact. I have tried factory re-set and removed & re-added web services but neither worked.

@SML1180, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Instant Ink!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I'm sorry to hear about the trouble you're experiencing with the Instant Ink registration on your second-hand printer. Unfortunately, the Instant Ink service is tied to the printer's serial number rather than the ownership, which can make it difficult to switch accounts without access to the previous account holder.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
