I have replaced my existing ENVY 5020 for deskjet 2800. The envy has been taken off the instant ink account and the 2800 has been added to the account. 

Here is the problem. I want to give the ENVY to my daughter.... but the printer will not print, despite having cartridges installed (instant ink cartridges).... When I checked out the printer to ensure that all  was fine. A message popped up on the printer screen, that cartridges are instant ink and will not work unless the printer is enrolled! Two points, the cartridges in the printer have been paid for, which I own fromon the previous instant ink delivery.

Secondly my daughter does not want to commit to the instant ink program. Will the printer work with non instant ink cartridges. Please resolve this issue.... My email address is Krtoons1950@**bleep**.com
