The printer is working over wifi but the Status message is as follows:
'unable to connect to the printer'
It also states the last sync date and time and this is shown as the time I expect, now, the sate and time I am checking the status.
This is rather confusing does any one know how I can sort this misleading message out?

Thanks for your advise. I have already tried from my own limited knowledge most if not all of what you advise but to no avail
What puzzles me about the Instant Ink status message is that the printer and home router settings show the printer is connected to my home wifi and it works ok printing pages at will. The printer wireless status is shown as 4 out of 5. To add HP Instant Ink has not sent me a message to say the printer is not connected its just my own findings that has raised this problem. All rather puzzling to me.
Is there anything else you can add to your suggestions for me to route out the likely cause of the apparent contradictory status message?
